The Buyer Agency Agreement includes a provision allowing the buyer's agent to seek payment of the fee from the seller. Sellers commonly agree to pay the Buyer Agency fee in the Offer to Purchase.
Yes. The Buyer Agency fee paid by a seller directly impacts their net proceeds after closing. As an example, if a seller is reviewing two identical offers at $400,000, but one has a 3% Buyer Agency fee and the other a 2% fee, the latter offer would net the seller $4,000 more — making it more competitive.
Yes. We can help any buyer who has not committed to using another agent or brokerage. We want to respect any existing relationship between a buyer and an agent or brokerage.
